June 20th Event and Updates from CPC-WNY
With any new group or initiative, you try things out, you run into a few road bumps, and you figure out what works, what doesn’t, and how to sustain energy for the long-term. I wanted to update you all on the vision for The Christian Peace Collective moving forward. We are leaning into our partnership with Allies Against Apartheid and focusing on less frequent but more impactful gatherings that involve co-sponsorship and planning with other local groups that have been on the scene much longer than we have. We are learning from and working with local organizations across ethnic, political, and religious affiliations.
We will also be hosting smaller, more informal educational lectures, workshops, film viewings, and book discussions, and we are open to visiting your community, workplace, church, or school. Please reach out to info@cpceny.org for more information.
If you are receiving this in your inbox, you are subscribed to our newsletter. If you haven’t yet and you’d like to support our work via a financial contribution that will go directly to the cost of this work (venue fees, food, literature, printing costs), consider upgrading to a recurring annual or monthly paid subscription here. All subscribers, paid and free, receive the same content. We appreciate any gifts, big or small, that help us continue to do this work. You can also make a one-time donation via Venmo @CPC-WNY
We are now on Instagram, so please hop on over there and follow us!
Also, I’ve recently added this fantastic list of resources to our Quick Links and Resources page. Be sure to check that out along with the other resources listed.
And finally… get this event in your calendar and spread the word! This promises to be a fun, hope-filled, and educational event for the whole family.
